Your auction has ended and a brand won. Congratulations — here's everything that happens between now and the money arriving in your bank account.
1. The deal opens
When the auction ends, the winning bid becomes a deal. You'll find it in your Dashboard and get a notification. The deal page has everything in one place: the brand's creative (logo, text, link, instructions), the chat, the delivery details and the proof checklist.
Say hi in the chat and confirm you've seen the creative. Brands like a quick reply.
2. Receive the item (if the brand sends it)
If your listing says Advertiser sends the props, add your receiving address on the deal page. Only the winning advertiser can see it; it's encrypted and deleted 30 days after the deal completes.
The brand ships the T-shirt, cap, stickers or temporary tattoo. Mark it as received when it arrives.
If the item doesn't arrive in time — by the ship-by date shown on the deal — either side can cancel the deal with no penalty, and the hold on the brand's card is released.
If you provide the ad yourself, print or apply the logo from the creative exactly as the brand asked.
3. Go to the event and wear it
This is the fun part. Keep the logo visible, don't cover it with a jacket or a backpack strap, and never cover your race bib.
4. Post the proof you promised
Your listing had a proof plan — for example 3 photos before the start and a short video at the finish. Buyers saw it before they bid, and you're held to it.
Upload the proof on the deal page:
- Photos and videos straight from your phone. Keep the original camera files — if a photo has no camera details, the buyer sees a neutral note that its origin couldn't be confirmed.
- The logo must be clearly visible, in the real world, at the event. For shipped items, the proof must show the item the brand sent.
- Links to posts or livestreams, if you promised them.
Tip: take more photos than you promised. Official race photos are great extra proof.
5. The brand accepts
The advertiser reviews your proof and accepts it. If they don't respond, the deal completes automatically 7 days after you post the proof.
If the brand thinks the placement wasn't delivered, they can open a dispute. A moderator looks at the deal, the chat, the creative and the proof. Delivering exactly what you promised is the best protection.
6. Get paid
When the deal is completed, we send the payout to your Stripe account, and Stripe sends it to your bank on its usual schedule.
- You keep 100% of the winning bid. The advertiser paid the service fee on top.
- New creators: your first 3 payouts are released 10 days after the event; payouts over $500 are reviewed by hand.
- The amount can arrive in your local currency — Stripe converts it.
No payouts connected yet? See How to set up payouts with Stripe.
7. Leave a review
Both sides can leave a review when the deal is completed. Good reviews help you get more and higher bids next time.
