The platform only connects people

IRLSlots is a free marketplace that connects advertisers with people who carry advertising in the real world. We are not a party to any deal and we never hold money for advertising space. Advertising space is sold by the creators themselves: the advertiser pays the creator through a direct charge on the creator's own Stripe account, and IRLSlots charges a buyer service fee for running the auction and the marketplace.

Payments, authorization and payouts

A bid is not a charge. Placing a bid authorizes the winning bid plus a single buyer service fee on the advertiser's card, and the money is only reserved. When the bid is outbid or the auction is cancelled, the authorization is released and the advertiser pays nothing. When the auction ends and the bid wins, the authorized amount is captured: the winning bid goes to the creator and the buyer service fee is collected. Creators keep 100% of the winning bid and must complete Stripe payout onboarding (Set up payouts) before a placement can be published. The two fee modes are explained on the Pricing & fees page.

Refunds and cancellations

If a placement is not delivered — the creator cancels after winning, or moderation decides the placement was not performed (the agreed proof is missing or the creator did not show up) — the advertiser is refunded right away, minus the payment processing cost. That payment processing cost is then collected from the creator out of their next sale and refunded to the advertiser; if it cannot be collected within about 170 days it stays with the advertiser. The result is recorded on the creator's profile: +1 cancelled deal when the creator cancels after winning, and +1 no-show when the creator did not show up or the agreed proof is missing. If the fault is ours, the advertiser receives a full refund including the payment processing cost. Outbid bids are released immediately and cost nothing. Your responsibilities

Each side is responsible for the legality of the advertising it offers or buys, for paying its own taxes, and for its own safety. Many events restrict or prohibit commercial advertising by participants, and some venues have their own rules. It is the seller's responsibility to check the event's rules before listing, and both sides are responsible for complying with them. Do not advertise prohibited content as listed in the auction rules.

Accounts and content

You must be at least 18 years old. You need an account to create placements or bid, and Verified accounts to publish. You keep the rights to the photos and text you upload and grant us a licence to display them and to create resized previews. You confirm you own or are allowed to use everything you upload. Keep your account information accurate and do not impersonate anyone.

Prohibited conduct

Fraud, listing placements you cannot fulfil, bidding without the intention or means to complete a deal, harassment, spam and attempts to manipulate auctions are prohibited. Paying the ad fee outside the platform does not remove your obligations under these terms. We may remove content, cancel listings and restrict or block accounts that break these rules.

No warranties

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the behaviour of users, for the conduct of events, or for the outcome of any deal. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and operator

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The service is operated by Levin Ronskii (個人事業 / sole proprietor), 2027 Hata, Moji-ku, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka 800-0112, Japan. Commercial disclosure under the Specified Commercial Transaction Act is available on the Commercial disclosure page.
