What we store, why, and how long we keep it.

This policy explains what IRLSlots stores, why, who processes it and how you can control it.
What we collect
Your email address and sign-in data come from Clerk. We store your display name, handle, avatar, city, country, bio, email verification status and account level. We also store the placements and bids you create, chat messages inside deals, uploaded logos and photos, proof photos, and the outcome of deals that reviews, levels and disputes depend on.
Delivery addresses
A seller enters a receiving address only inside a deal, after it is won. It is encrypted at rest and visible only to the winning advertiser of that deal. It is deleted 30 days after the deal completes.
Photos
Photos are re-encoded, resized and stripped of EXIF metadata, including GPS, before they are stored. We do not sell personal data.
Stripe Connect and payments
Creators connect a Stripe account before publishing so they can receive payouts. Stripe collects identity (KYC) and bank details directly, and we never see them. We store only the connected account id, its country and currency, and the account status flags (charges enabled, payouts enabled). Advertisers' card details are collected by Stripe too — we never see or store full card numbers.
Processors
We use Clerk for sign-in and email verification, Stripe for cards, payouts and authorization holds, and Cloudflare R2 and its CDN for file storage and delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Deal records and proof photos are kept while they are needed for trust, reviews, disputes and legal obligations. Delivery addresses are deleted 30 days after a deal completes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and personal data. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
